EUsalt Innovation Award

In a fast-paced and globalised environment where technology is advancing, economic disruptions are more likely to occur and customer expectations are more demanding, European salt producers are led to adapt and innovate to the new trends and generations. Innovation allows turning challenges into opportunities making businesses sustain and grow. EUsalt is proud of its membership's forward-thinking and ingenious mindset and would like to award its innovative spirit. In this context, EUsalt decided to launch its first edition of the Innovation Award in 2023, a competition designed to highlight innovative projects and initiatives carried out by EUsalt members.

The EUsalt Innovation Award specifically aims to:

  • recognise EUsalt members’ commitment and initiatives in the area of innovation;
  • foster further innovation in our sector by providing a platform to showcase best practice models for our industry.

Every EUsalt member company (full or associate member) can submit an innovation project.

The projects may concern any aspect of innovation led by the company. Innovation areas may also include environmental sustainability, biodiversity and technological development. Submitted projects must show excellence in design, technical development and efficient deployment of innovation.

The evaluation of the written project will be done by an external jury and Board members.
